Families & Children in Worship

We welcome children in our worship services.. Kid’s Worship is offered during both services.

For the first service, families may bring their children to Kid’s Worship with Pastor Maddie beginning at 9:15 AM. During the second service, children are dismissed to Kid’s Worship during the announcement time. Parents may pick up their children in Room 119 following the service.
Nursery care is available every Sunday for children ages 4 and under in Room 108. The Sensory Room in Room 115 is open to all ages. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Glow Night of Fellowship Sunday, TODAY at 5:00pm.

The children and youth will celebrate the new year with a Glow Party. Glowing fun, food and fellowship. All are invited to attend and encouraged to wear something bright or white to glow.

Servants Needed to Help with Youth!

We are looking for a few adults to serve on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. to help lead our youth. Lessons are provided—you simply read, discuss, and facilitate conversation.

Second Adults

We also need additional “second adults” to support our youth and children’s ministries. As new families continue to visit and return, having two adults in each room is essential for Safe Sanctuaries. Your presence matters—sometimes simply showing up makes all the difference.

Altar Flowers

Anyone wishing to provide flowers for the altar in honor or memory of someone, please call the office or Nancy Duncan 859.948.9283.

VUMC Scholarship

Academic scholarships are made available to graduating seniors who are member of VUMC. The scholarship fund is in need of support, donations can be made to VUMC either on-line or by check. Simply note in the memo for “VUMC Scholarship”
